PENDLE Forest Cycling Club have organised the first of a series of monthly rides starting this coming Saturday.
Every ride will start at Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne at 11am. From there the club members will lead cyclists on a variety of safe and easy rides around the area.
Each ride will usually include a caf stop and is especially suitable for beginners and families. The routes will be off-road as far as is possible.
Mark Sandamas of Pennine Events who set up and organised the recent Bike Fest said: "It's great that Pendle Forest are doing this as it provides a great opportunity for people to get some exercise in over the winter and meet like-minded people."
The date for next year's Bike Fest has been set for Saturday, July 24.
The summer series of guided rides will start a few weeks before the event and willcontinue until the autumn.
