A WIDE variety of crafts will be on offer at a traditional German Christmas market being held in Bacup.
The Friends of Bocholt, a group set up to encourage links with Rossendale's German twin town, have organised the market, which is being held in Bacup Leisure Hall, in Burnley Road, on Saturday.
There will be around 30 stalls selling high quality hand-made English crafts and the Friends' stall will be selling German Christmas cakes and other goodies.
German and English refreshments will also be on offer and visitors will be able to enjoy entertainment from local choirs.
Organiser Rosalie Driver said: "Our move to Bacup Leisure Hall, after three years at Rawtenstall Astoria, will mean better access for customers, as the hall is on the ground floor. But all the special atmosphere and the unique selection of crafts we've become famous for will be still be there.
"Stall-holders from across the North West are attracted by the event."
Admission to the market is free and it is open from 10am to 4pm.
