I READ with disbelief about needing more money from the police. How dare they have the brass neck to ask for it.

If they are short of cash why don't they use the cash which they have been raking in from the speed cameras? I object strongly to their cheek for even asking.

Even if they get the cash I wouldn't expect to see more bobbies on the beat. You will probably see more vans with policemen inside with their speed cameras. I say get them out of the vans and on to the streets before they lose the use of their legs and leave the easy targets (the motorists) alone.
