ROSSENDALE'S Catholic community is being urged to come together for a week of celebration and exploration of their faith, starting this weekend.
Valley Catholics Together has been planned by the parishioners from Rossendale's six churches. During the week, six events with different themes and speakers will be held at venues across Rossendale.
Barry Payton, of St Mary's, Haslingden, said: "The week is a chance for adults in the valley to come together, reflect on their faith and celebrate. It has not been arranged by the parish priests, though it does have their support and encouragement.
"Each event will involve prayer and refreshments, a chance to listen and contribute, a chance to chat, laugh and reflect."
Valley Catholics Together week starts on Sunday, November 23, at Haslingden Community Link, and finishes with a Mass at All Saints' High School, in Rawtenstall, on Saturday, November 29, from 6pm to 8pm.
