A BURGLAR who broke into a house in Todmorden Road, Burnley, was disturbed when the owner of the property returned home.
The thief got in through the back door, which had been left unlocked, at 5.45pm on Wednesday, November 19.
The victim disturbed the intruder but he barged past him and ran out of the house.
He is described as a white male, aged 18 to 24, of slim build and around 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall. He had short dark hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a dark green and black baseball cap, a dark zip-up jacket, dark trousers and woollen gloves.
