BURNLEY have dished out an upbeat message to fans ahead of tomorrow's crunch clash with Rotherham: "Don't panic!"

Stan Ternent's side go in search of their first win in seven league games against the struggling Millers at Turf Moor.

And the Clarets management team insist it's only a matter of time before the team clicks into top gear and races back up the First Division table.

Assistant boss, Sam Ellis, said: "I accept that fans will be concerned, but we are doing our best to put it right and we feel it's fortune, rather than talent and work.

"Teams will always be afraid of us when we have the ball, but the other side of our game is that we have just not had the luck.

"In every game we've played, we have had chances to score, but we've conceded some goals that you wouldn't be able to account for, so things are going against us in both boxes.

"We just have to work hard and don't panic."

Ellis, who revealed that Luke Chadwick and Delroy Facey remain injury doubts for tomorrow's game while Paul Weller is likely to return to the bench, added: "We don't feel there's anything to worry about with the squad of players we have.

"Everyone goes through a spell where they can't get a win, or are fighting to get something.

"It's frustrating for everybody - the players especially - because we feel we are playing okay.

"We are not getting the breaks, but it will turn because we've got a good squad who work hard and will get their just rewards in the end."

He added: "The league position is for the end of the season and I'm not being funny when I say that.

"We feel we are playing better than where we are in the league and we don't think we have a lot to worry about."

Rotherham head over the Pennines with worries of their own, having won just once in eight league games - a 3-1 victory over rock-bottom Wimbledon last time out.

Burnley remain hopeful of a bumper crowd to greet the Clarets tomorrow as a result of the 'Walk up for Burnley' campaign.

Fans have until 5pm today to take advantage of the offer of four tickets (two adults and two concessions) for only £20.
