A 22-YEAR-OLD man caught driving while disqualified returned the following day to collect his car and was arrested again, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that since the "back-to-back" offences in March Andrew Alexander Johnstone had been caught behind the wheel on two further occasions.
Johnstone, of Mosley Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to four charges of driving while disqualified and without insurance and two offences of failing to surrender to bail.
He was jailed for a total of six months.
The court heard that the first two offences had been committed in Blackburn, the third in Burnley and he last in Chorley.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said there had been reasons why Johnstone had been driving on each occasion.
"I would ask you to accept that these were not pre-meditated offences although my client is well aware of the precarious position he has put himself in," said Mr Ditta.
