A LOOK at the key moments from the game against Spurs.
ROVERS
BRAD FRIEDEL: Didn't have too much to do for his first clean sheet of the season. Made one blinding save from Postiga but the Spurs striker was flagged offside anyway. 7
MARKUS BABBEL: Solid enough defensively but didn't look particularly comfortable going forward. 6
VRATISLAV GRESKO: Rovers' unlikely hero. Popped up with the winning goal to cap one of his tidier defensive displays. 7
CRAIG SHORT: Outstanding considering it was only his second game back after a long injury lay-off. 8
ANDY TODD: Mr Consistency at the moment. Hardly put a foot wrong all afternoon and used the ball intelligently where possible. 8
TUGAY: Too many passes went sideways and back in the first half but he stepped things up a notch in the second half. 7
BARRY FERGUSON: A good foil for Tugay in the centre of the park but I'd like to see him getting beyond the front two a bit more at home. 7
NISSA JOHANSSON: Asked to play out of position and he looked like a square peg in a round hole in the first half before he was replaced by Steven Reid. 5
BRETT EMERTON: Supplied some decent crosses from the flanks when he got into the right positions. 7
DWIGHT YORKE: Retained possession well and could have grabbed a couple of goals on another day. 7
PAUL GALLAGHER: A star in the making. Tried to grab the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half. Mature beyond his years. 8
SUBS: REID (for Johansson, 46) 7; JANSEN (for Gallagher, 83); NOT USED: TAYLOR, BAGGIO, ENCKELMAN.
