LEIGH RMI are set to renew hostilities with some faces from the past in the FA Trophy after being paired with Stalybridge Celtic.
The UniBond League side boast RMI connections through their manager Dave Miller and coach Gerry Luczka who also served under Steve Waywell's tenure at Hilton Park.
The home tie in the third round takes place on January 10, giving several former Railwaymen the chance to shine against their former employers.
Leigh-born-and-based Andy Heald will be hoping to prove to RMI just what they're missing out on as he pulls on the blue of Celtic, while fans' favourite and full-back Dave German will be certain of a rousing reception from the home supporters. Goalkeeper Craig Dootson completes a playing trio.
"It's always good to have a home draw and we are happy with it", admitted Leigh manager Phil Starbuck, left. "We know that at the end of the day its 11 against 11 when we walk out onto the pitch and we have to be confident."
