THE proposed EU Constitution attempts to lock us into an anti-democratic mega-state where our country would have no guaranteed rights and from which it would be difficult to break free.
Article 10 of the EU Constitution states: "The Constitution, and law adopted by the Union's Institutions in exercising competence conferred on us, shall have primacy over the law of the member states."
There should be a referendum to save our freedom to govern ourselves.
The EU Constitution will be interpreted solely by the European Court of Justice, giving the authority to interfere in virtually all aspects of our country.
Without the fully-informed consent of the British people the EU Constitution can have no claim on our loyalty or obedience.
