MUSCLE men are being asked to flex their pecs in a competition to raise money for a Tottington youngster.
Cheerz balloon shop, on Tottington Road, has arranged the event to help little Katie Scarlett McIntosh (5), of Scobell Street.
Strongmen of the borough are being sought to take part in the Muscle Man of Bury contest to be held on December 17, at the Chicago Rock Cafe in Bury.
The little girl suffers from autism, and stopped talking almost two years ago when she changed nursery schools. But her voice suddenly returned when a shot of some balloons was shown on a television advertisement.
