LOWERHOUSE residents group had another charity night at The Lowerhouse Mills Club to help raise funds for their group. The residents and visitors had a brilliant night of entertainment with male vocalist Paul Ray.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and watch out for future events.

THE Rosegrove Railway Club was full to capacity last Friday night for their monthly Star Night. The cabaret was provided by Trevor Wallace, top Lancashire comedian, and supporting him was Rave On.

The people who attended had a fabulous night of entertainment. If you missed this one make sure you are early for the next star night.

ROSEGROVE Action Group are asking for donations for a Christmas hamper and raffle prizes. If you can help please call at the group's shop on Monday or Thursday, 9am to11am or Wednesday afternoon, 2pm to 3pm.

The Christmas trees erected this week in Rosegrove will be switched on soon.

ROSEGROVE Infant School raised a grand total of over £700 at their recent autumn fair. Mrs Barker and staff would like to thank all the people who helped and the parents and friends who turned up and supported the event.

GREENBROOK Methodist Church were entertained last Saturday by The Greater Manchester Police Choir. The audience were treated to a super night of singing and music.

The proceeds of the night will be divided equally between the church and the Hospice which provides a very good service to society. Thank you to all who supported this event.
