Eduard Shevardnadze, ex-president of Georgia, has been forced from office by the will of the people, is it not high time that Blair shared his fate?
Blair's lies about Iraq have been instrumental in killing many hundreds of men, women and children, yet he shows no sign of remorse or contrition. What is most unforgivable of all, however, is his posing, while grinning like a demented Cheshire cat, with members of the victorious rugby team -- as though he had had anything to do with it.
If Blair had one shred of decency, or if he were not devoid of shame, he would have resigned long ago. Almost anyone taken at random from the street would make a better PM.
