PENDLE planners are set to approve plans to transform a former Trawden bakery into houses.
The plans are to build a three-storey block of five houses at the former Chelsea Bakery, in Church Street.
The scheme was given approval for a residential development site in 1998. Exactly the same plans have been re-submitted.
At the front of Church Street the developer plans to form six car parking spaces for occupants of the new-build housing.
Officers recommended the proposals for approval with a number of conditions, including flood reducing methods, and ensuring adequate visibility to the street junction
Councillors will discuss the proposal at Thursday's Colne and District Committee meeting.
