A LOCAL history book completed after the author's death has been launched in the Ribble Valley.
'Clitheroe, from Burbage Plots to Boundary Stones,' was written during the final years of its author, Cyril Ainsworth.
Cyril, of Buccleuch Avenue, Clitheroe, died two years ago, before he completed the book.
So the trust members put the book together after his death, and it was officially unveiled at Clitheroe Library this week.
Cyril was also the founder of the Ainsworth Research Trust for Local History, set up in 1997 to encourage an interest in history.
The book will cost £15 from most East Lancashire bookshops.
