DESPITE the three goals conceded, Bacup Borough were always in control of this NWCL Challenge Cup tie and scored at will.
Rhodri Giggs shot the home side into the lead and Lee Wilkinson scored on his home debut, but Flixton hit two goals at the end of the first half to get back in the game.
Despite several chances, it wasn't until the 62nd minute when Bacup regained the lead, with Darren Quick marking his debut by heading in a Giggs corner.
Giggs scored again five minutes later to give Bacup another two-goal cushion and Steve Stott converted a penalty as Flixton were reduced to 10 men.
Wilkinson showed his class with a quality finish to score his second and make it six.
