CONCERNING the letter (LET December 3) on road widening in Eanam.
There's a better example of stupid road planning, just travel down Barbara Castle Way to Preston New Road nice two-way road then past Capita's new building then what do you get -- two lanes into one and back again into two lanes at Montague Street. What planning idiot designed this one? I and many more motorists would welcome an answer.
The flowerbeds on either side of the road are wide enough for a motorway.
