CONGRATULATIONS Blackburn Council for managing to create one of the most chaotic town centres in the North West.
Returning to Blackburn by bus the other day it took 30 minutes to travel from Preston to King Street but 15 minutes from Astley Gate to the Boulevard.
Well done also for making Church Street one of the most dangerous areas for pedestrians, where hazards lie in wait for them both from vehicular traffic and poor walking surfaces.
Has anyone else noticed the improvements to traffic congestion in the Preston New Road area since the new extension to Barbara Castle Way?
I would like to nominate Blackburn Council as 'Council of the Year' but, unfortunately, in this case, it would be 'Most Inefficient Council of the Year.'
