REGARDING the call for a demonstration by the Muslim Civil Rights Movement. The world is an unsafe place at the moment because of the threat by Muslim extremists, who are also terrorists.
Security services must be allowed to do what is necessary to stop any attacks. When they arrest someone who may be in possession of explosives they must be allowed to investigate all his connections, including the time he spent living and studying in Blackburn.
In the eighties someone I knew had his house searched by the police who were investigating terrorism. His link was that he was Irish. He didn't complain of oppression and demonstrate on the streets.
