A RECIPE book bursting with residents' top cookery tips has been launched at a fun day in Colne.

The Colne Recipe Book, which also includes celebrity chef Paul Heathcote's version of Pendle Pie, was unveiled at Colne outdoor market.

The book is part of the Food in Pendle project, launched by volunteers to research people's eating habits and examine the obstacles to a healthy diet. Families took advantage of the opportunity to sample organic fruit and vegetables, visit Fairtrade stalls and watch cookery demonstrations.
