HORRIBLE with a hammer? A dunce at decorating?
If you know someone who is, then you could be just what Channel Five is looking for.
The TV company is looking for the nation's worst DIYer - and they believe the 'title' could go to someone in Leigh.
Presenter, Quentin Willson, is leading Five's nationwide quest to find the people who shouldn't even pick-up a paint-brush let alone a power-tool, and help them become safe and dedicated DIYers.
Following Five's highly acclaimed and ratings-topping Britain's Worst Driver, Quentin wants to hear from those of you driven up the wall by dodgy DIY.
So far the DIYers we've met in Leigh just haven't been bad enough - do you know different? This Christmas your hopeless home-improver can be the star of a prime time competition - and if they don't learn how do it properly, they'll never be allowed to bodge a job again.
Call early and we'll send you a special Christmas card to present to your loved one - telling them they've been nominated.
To nominate your candidate for 'Britain's Worst DIYer' call
090 133 22 555. Calls cost 10p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from other networks vary in cost.
Call should last no longer than 2 minutes. Nomination deadline is January 18.
