TEENAGE Morecambe striker Danny Carlton has been signed up by a top sportswear maker.
The 19-year-old, pictured, has become an automatic choice up front for Jim Harvey's Shrimps this season and has now been signed on a three year sponsorship deal with perfor-mance linked incentives by Umbro.
The latest in a line of locals developed through Morecambe's impressive Youth Academy, he is being sponsored to wear Umbro XAI boots.
Carlton joined the Morecambe first team squad in January last year, made his debut in March and scored 10 goals last season. So far this season he has added eight goals to his tally - including five in the last six outings.
