PUPILS at a Leigh school are aiming to cheer up their grounds in Spring.
The children of Higher Folds Primary School have planted over 400 bulbs with the help of the estate's residents' association and caretaker.
This week it is the turn of St Gabriel's pupils who will dig out the dibbers to plant daffodils and crocuses on their site. Residents' group chairman June Cunningham, said: "We are trying to do lots of things to make the area a bit brighter."
