A TEENAGE rider was knocked off his bike by a man who then stole his BMX on Monday night in Leigh.
Police are appealing for help in tracing the bob-cap wearing thief who stole the 14-year-old's bike as he rode home along Chapel Street.
Officers say at 9.30pm a man pulled the boy off his silver, aluminium bike and rode off on it. The boy was uninjured.
The attacker is described as a white man, between five feet seven inches and six feet tall. He wore a black bob hat, a red padded jacket and blue jeans.
