GREAT Harwood Town forced a replay with Winsford United in the quarter final of the Division Two Trophy - despite getting beat on penalties!
The match ended all square at the Barton Stadium after extra time, and, after much confusion the officials decided that the customary shoot-out should take place.
The hosts emerged victorious, however, it was later announced over the stadium's speaker system that a replay will be held at the Showground on Tuesday under league regulations.
The Robins gifted the Cheshire side the lead thanks to a Neil Kennedy own goal after a mix-up with keeper Bobby Harris.
Town hit back on 70 minutes through Paul Mashiter who slotted home after a Sam Pope effort was saved.
The game then petered out with neither side looking capable of snatching a winner before the most bizarre of climaxes.
