LOOK who's behind you Cinders. It's those two ugly sisters so you'd better watch your back!

Panto season is here again and Preston Little Theatre, Market Street West is preparing to wow audiences with the classic tale, Cinderella, from Saturday December 20.

This all time family favourite has all the usual pantomime ingredients including the hilarious Buttons and the ugly sisters 'Maximum' and 'Minimum' who heckle at poor Cinders.

The show aims to bring the saucy comedy up-to-date with Cinders depicted as a truly modern girl. An independent minded girl Cinders doesn't do much crying and gives the horrendous ugly sisters a run for their money. Children are certain to enjoy the show with its colourful characters and cracks with the audience, but there is plenty of humour aimed at the adults too. The traditional fairy godmother looks set to grant Cinders her wish of going to the ball, but will the glass slipper fit? You will have to go along to find out.

And if rock music is your thing you are certain to enjoy the cast moving and shaking to 'Rock Around the Clock' when the clock strikes midnight.

The show is a tribute to the Preston Little Theatre actor, Peter Kennedy, who died recently.
