BURY guide dog owners are being offered a ticket to ride as First signs up to the Guide Dog Travel Charter.
The Charter is a good practice guide launched by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as part of its 'Access for All' campaign.
This is aimed at all transport operators, appealing to bus, coach, train, ferry and airline companies to sign up and demonstrate commitment to accessible travel for guide dog owners.
Peter Walch, First's operations manager for Bury, said: "Signing up to the Charter demonstrates our commitment to providing a top level service for all passengers and we hope that this will lead to confident use of our bus services by disabled people."
