A TURKEY called Bernard is to be the guest star at special fancy dress Christmas parade...for animals!
Bernard will be joined by petting pals including a donkey, llama, rabbit, goats, sheep, horses, ponies and even a parrot at the event at Lords House Farm, Rishton.
The parade will take place at the outdoor riding school on Wednesday, December17, at 1.30 pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
Volunteer and activity co-ordinator at the farm, Kath Phacker, said the parade will include the mainstream riders doing a drill to music, a nativity scene where students dressed as Mary and Joseph will walk along with the donkey, and carol singing with Christmas music.
The students will also dress in fancy dress as well as dressing up the animals using Christmas decorations such as tinsel and lights.
