The con is on in this heart warming comedy starring father and son, Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt.

Sanjay plays Munna, a happy go lucky fellow with an eye for booze, babes and brawls. All of this unsettled once a year though when his father pays a visit to check on his favourite son. His father, a simple honest villager has always believed his son is a doctor and has spent a lot of his hard-earned cash to make that dream come true. Unfortunately he couldn't be further from the truth.

So when its time to marry his son off Prasad Sharma (Sunil) picks none other than a beautiful doctor as his future daghter-in-law. As you've probably figured out by now Munna has now got his work cut out. Rather than disappoint his father Munna decides its doesn't take a great deal to pass off as a doctor and ablely assisted by his gang of misfits sets about persuading the world he is a medical genius. He even has the nerve to set up a charity in his father's name.

The joke does eventually wear thin but by then I think Sanjay has convinced us he's that bad in comedies.

He's well supported by a strong cast but at one time the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukherjee and Tabu were all associated with the film but then left.
