GREAT Harwood boss John Hughes was left baffled by events in the Division Two Trophy quarter final this week.
A 1-1 scoreline after extra time meant the Robins were left with a penalty shoot-out at Winsford United, despite Hughes requesting a replay at the Showground.
However, after losing the shoot-out 5-4, it was then announced that a replay would be held after all.
"It was farcical really. We don't even know if the replay will be next week or after Christmas," Hughes said.
"It does disrupt our league form but I've got a big squad so I will but a whole different side out for the replay."
A number of players picked up knocks on a poor Winsford surface, including Sam Pope, Neil Kennedy and James Coonan.
However, Adam Douglas, Warren Baker and Andy Taylor are available for tomorrow's league game at home to Eccleshall.
