ROSSENDALE United are hoping to have Rochdale midfielder Lee Duffy in the line-up to face UniBond Division One leaders Matlock Town at Dark Lane tomorrow.
Manager Paul Lynch is trying to secure the temporary services of the 21-year-old, who played 35 games in Division Three last season.
"He will be a massive plus for us," said Lynch, who is also trying to sign a striker from a fellow UniBond Division One club to cover for the injured Brian Welch and the recently-departed duo of Russell Brierley and Lee Cryer, who has returned to Clitheroe.
Lynch watched his side end a four-game goal drought at Guiseley in the FA Trophy third round on Tuesday, only to see the game fogged off when the score was 1-1.
But with his side back on the goal trail, the boss feels it's the ideal time to take on Matlock.
Lynch added: 'We fancy ourselves at home. We beat Bridlington, who are second, and drew with Leek when they were top.
