I would just like to comment on the article about the man in Rishton being plagued by racist graffiti.

I grew up in Lancashire and have lived here all my life and have I begun to see more and more racism. I have personally not been subjected to any direct racism, but have heard of incidents against other Asians.

To this day, I still feel appalled that there are people who have such hideous and dark sides to them. Those who claim they're not racist must be kidding, because by not doing protesting or speaking out against it, they are silently supporting racism.

I'm not saying that Asians are perfects. Like any human being, no one group of people is ever perfect. But I know that if there's any news of an Asian attacking a white person, the community goes into an uproar or outrage.

We are expected to be part of mainstream British society by paying taxes, etc but where it really matters, I feel Britain is still an extremely racist place.
