Regarding the comments made by Mr I Master (Issue No 68 October edition).
I was very disturbed to learn that a few Indian Muslim individuals had a telephone meeting with the Chief Minister of Gujrat Narendra Modi.
First of all most Indian organisations in the North West only exist on paper and have self-appointed leaders. I am urging these leaders to stop abusing the community name. If you want to meet with the 'butcher of Gujarat' Mr Modi, do it in your own name and not in the name of the community.
Secondly, these organisations are doing more harm to the community cause than any good,
As far is Modi is concerned, the majoirty of the organisations and community leaders were not happy with the proposal of meeting him. Instead, they decided to take appropriate political and legal action against him. You do not talk to murderers and butchers. You punish then. I urge readers to find out what exactly happned during the riots and decide what we can do in order to seek justice for the murdered.
