Children of the world are different in some ways,

We all play and we all laugh,

But we do not all have the same priorities.

We in Britain have running water,

We have software and technology,

Most of the time we take it for granted,

Though in some countries for instance Iraq they don't have access to clean water.

Also we have the kind of technology to make computer graphics

Though children in Iraq have to make do with what they have got.

We take other things for granted for example

The clothes also the priority of good education

And in most cases a sheltered house with double glazing and central heating,

Warm and healthy food and loving parents.

And most definitely a chance of not dying on the streets.

Why do we fight why do we bomb

Why do we kill why do we slaughter

Can't we be friends can't we live together as equals.

We're all the same big and small.

We all eat we all breath but still war breaks among us,

We see we hear but still war breaks among us.

We have resources like food and running water,

We have coal and gas supplies.

Though in Iraq most people don't have these substances,

We destroy and crush, but when the military does what they want

They don't own up and rebuild what they have demolished.

Are they blind to see the cries of our own nation's people?

Are they blind to see how we feel about these wars?
