IT'S not often I feel moved to respond to something I feel is totally stupid, but your front page on 'Goths' (LET Tuesday, January 20) has really made my blood boil. I walk past this group of teenagers every Saturday. They may be large in number and in some instances look a little unkempt -- but intimidating?
I'm sorry, but I thought we had moved past the dress makes the person era!
In my experience, if you ask them to move they will do so without any quibble. I have yet to hear any bad language. They congregate on the outskirts of the precinct away from the hustle and bustle of the shoppers.
Please let's stop being so pathetic. Are we really going to insist that the police enforce the 'Anti-Social Behaviour' Act on this group?
