HINDLEY Athletic lost a thriller 4-3 to Wakefield Villa in the Under 16's section.
Hindley took a 2-0 lead only for the visitors to turn the game round and go 4-2 up. Hindley pulled one back to set up a barnstorming finish which saw them have two goals disallowed in the last 10 minutes.
The scorers for Hindley were Steve Mosley, Ryan Stanistreet and Dean Parkinson.
