I WOULD like to see the people responsible for the planning and regeneration of Darwen and Blackburn brought forward to explain why the ideas put forward -- approved and implemented at great costs -- turn out to be a farce.
Look at the so-called Orbital Route, around Blackburn. Not only does it change from month to month, but the general route overall is ridiculous.
Another example is the A666. Whose idea was it to place bus stops along the route at stupid angles so that when a bus does stop traffic grinds to a halt?
It is also my opinion that someone in the council must have shares in the company that provides bollards. These things appear everywhere whether needed or not. Not only are they dangerous for the visually impaired, it is a senseless waste of taxpayers money.
