BLACKBURN Rovers were due to face a court clash with Blackburn Council following a dispute over working hours.
The council served a summons alleging breaches of the agreement on working hours, signed as part of planning permission for redevelopment of the Ewood Park super stadium.
And forty jobs were lost at Hyndburn's Express Gifts catalogue service.
