BUSY needleworkers from Newchurch WI craft group put on a display in the village library with numerous jumpers and blankets knitted for the Jacob's Well charity.
Members enjoyed floating through France when Mrs S Davidson related her experiences on canal trips across the Channel.
Mrs P Chesworth, J Greig and P Poulter headed the canal scene competition.
Diary dates include a walk around Lymm on February 27 and, on March 24, a computing and holiday travel evening in the library.
A birthday meeting will be on March 11 at 7.30pm in Newchurch Parish Hall will feature Laughterlines. Everyone is welcome. More information from Mrs J Riley on 01925 762722.
