AFC Tyldesley had little trouble disposing of Three Crowns Reserves in the Leigh Soccer League Davenport Cup first round.
A hat-trick from Renshaw and another goal by Hayes gave them a comfortable 4-0 win.
In a round two game, Kersal Vale beat New Inn Rangers 4-2 with goals from Snelgrove (2), Smith and Hill. Rushworth and Ainscough replied for Rangers.
A solitary goal from Hough was enough for Asda Golborne to progress at the expense of Leigh Legion.
