RE your article "Waiting for Answers" (LET, March 16), I fully applaud the actions of Mr Wayne Cook.
Are Blackburn with Darwen Social Services above the law? Shane Cook is one of three children who have died while under their care and protection.
Yet Social Services are allowed to carry on as if nothing has happened. How many more children must die before they are brought to book? How are parents of children in care supposed to trust them? Something needs to be done and soon.
BERNARD WALSH, Marsh House, Lane, Darwen.
