PENDLE councillors threatened legal action against the county council for failing to ease traffic congestion.
Pendle Council demanded that County Hall give its support to a bypass around the Foulridge area to ease traffic problems.
They said the county council's support for an extension to the M65 motorway from Colne to Yorkshire would cause traffic chaos.
