COLNE will look to boost their North West Counties Division two title hopes even further at home to Flixton tonight.

The Reds have already dealt a severe blow to Formby's chances by beating them 2-0 on Monday night.

That loss leaves the Merseysiders with a 17-point lead on Colne, but they only have three league games left to play.

Colne still have 15 games remaining, which gives them nine games in hand to make up a nine-point deficit on tonight's opponents, who are currently third.

With the mental and physical scars still fresh from Saturday's FA Vase exit, Nigel Coates rang the changes for Monday's victory over Formby.

Player-chairman James Webster was rested along with Kieron Roberts and Gavin Cooper, but they are back in contention for tonight.

Jason Heffernan is suspended, captain Scott Gizon will be rested and Paul Walker is injured, while Gary Rishton and new signing from Nelson Steve Whittaker are both unavailable.

Supporters who went to the Formby game and also attend tonight will get a free ticket for next Thursday's home league meeting with Blackpool Mechanics.
