THE 90-years-old Leigh Spiritualist Temple will be rededicated on Sunday following work to make it more user friendly for the disabled.
The rostrum has been moved from one side of the building to the other to accommodate new toilets and wheelchair ramps.
The Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr and Mrs Wilf Brogan, will join guests at The Avenue temple where the 3pm rededication service will be conducted by Duncan Gascoigne, president of the Spiritualist National Union and general secretary Charles Coulston.
The temple is used four days a week as a drop-in centre by special needs clients from the Orchards.
President Joyce Hayes said: "The service follows repair work to make the temple more user friendly."
A Jacob's Feast -- in which guests contribute food to the table -- will follow.
