IT'S time for British Gas to apologise again!
Last year an Argyle Street, Atherton, pensioner wrote to me because he was sick of being pestered by canvassers and as a result the company sent him a letter apologising and assuring him that he would not be bothered again.
On Monday the furious OAP rang me saying he was preparing his disabled wife's meal at 4pm when the doorbell rang and there on the step was guess who? A British Gas agent complete with clipboard. Rather than bop him, he rang me again. Seems you just can't win.
