I'M writing about the Regional Assembly in England.
The assemblies will each have up to 40 new elected politicians and a small army of civil servants and will ultimately be under the control of an English super-ministry run by Mr Prescott.
That's another tier of government and how much will it all cost for John Prescott's Dream?
Will his new local government do away with the council tax? I don't think so as it will be that tax that will have to pay for all this and it will have to go up to pay for it.
This is one thing that the people don't want at any price.
The Blair government wants to push it through and that's why Mr Prescott has been touring round.
I do hope the people of Lancashire get a vote so they can vote NO.
H McLEAN (Mr), Brighton Terrace, Darwen.
