AN appeal to find out information about a man who died in Prestwich has paid off.
Bury coroner's officer, Geoff Cave, wanted help in tracking down the family and friends of Mr Dennis Worsley who died, aged 75, on March 1.
Although no members of his family have yet come forward, a number of Mr Worsley's friends got in touch with the coroner's office.
Mr Cave said: "I want to say thank you to everyone who came forward with information about Mr Worsley. We had six people who rang in and assisted in my enquiries. The Duchy of Lancaster Estates will be arranging Mr Worsley's funeral."
