THE recruitment of five new staff by PR World Travel will play a pivotal role in helping the company towards its objective of achieving a £10 million turnover locally.
And the business, with three locations around the borough, has just recently completed a re-design of its web site.
The five new staff will be employed at PR World Travel's offices at Kay Gardens in Bury, the Longfield Centre in Prestwich and Water Street, Radcliffe.
Peter Hardman, a partner with the company, said: "We're hoping to turn over nearly £10 million pounds worth of business this year and we send more than 13,000 people away every year.
"The extra staff will help us achieve the growth needed to compete in the competitive travel market.
"Our new high speed website www.beachbargins.com has been re-designed and has thousands of offers on holidays and cruises."
He added: "We are also members of the Independent Options group, a group of travel companies who total in excess of 800 members. This enables us to attract exclusive deals not available with most other agents and teletext operators. These are constantly updated and are displayed in our shop windows and on the website.
"This along with what we consider as a service 'second to none' has enabled us to keep one step ahead of our rivals."
PR World Travel has more than 30 years of experience in its field.
