A BODY found in Scottish waters is believed to be that of missing East Lancashire diver Neil Robertson who went missing while exploring a famous wreck.
Police "strongly believe" the body, discovered off Lochaline, Morvern, in the Sound of Mull yesterday, is 50-year-old Mr Robertson, who had been living in Rothes in Moray.
Mr Robertson, went missing during a dive to see sunken steel steam ship the Shuna in the area on Saturday, March 13.
The diving party raised the alarm after he got into difficulties but he has not been seen since.
Up to eight vessels and a Royal Navy helicopter were involved in the ongoing search for Mr Robertson.
Yesterday police dive units, a local boat crew and a remotely operated vehicle carried out an underwater search and found a body.
The remains are due to be recovered by Strathclyde Police Underwater Unit today and positively identified.
