ORGANISERS of a major Rossendale business exhibition said the first event was such a success they are planning to hold more in the future.

More than 50 visitors turned out for the event at Bacup Leisure Hall, at which more than 30 companies were represented. The event was organised by the Top of the Valley Project, which was set up just over 12 months ago to help the business community in Bacup and Stacksteads.

Chris Browne, project worker, said: "We were delighted with the turn out. It was one of the largest events of its kind ever held in Rossendale and one of the most successful."
